eye doctor appt in the AM. i've purposely avoided using my eyedrops, so my eyes should be nice and irritated for them. i hope i can get this go-ahead on this other drug, and that it actually works.

Jon and allison and ava came in from Columbus for the bday party today. that Ava looks just like her daddy. and she's got the flair for the dramatic like her mommy. Ava's staying over next weekend so jon and al can celebrate al's birthday. i should try to pop up to see her.

i have a feeling dad and i will have a major blow-out before i'm completely moved in. he talks to me like i'm a child who can't think for herself, and he's trying to tell me how i should do everything. i tell him my plan for packing and moving, and he has to pick it apart. he can't just be happy for me or anything. so irritating.

i keep changing my mind, but my current painting plan is to cover everything with Kilz, and add color later. i'll need Kilz to cover my stencilling here before i move out, so i might as well just do it all at once. It's tempting to go ahead and paint the kitchen sage green to go with my dishes, but i think i'll wait til i'm settled.

Diane likes my various decorating suggestions, and has tipped me off to a place that has new and used furniture. i'm wanting a china hutch and a black wrought iron canopy bed, so some shopping around will be required.

I have a black wrought iron canopy bad that I got at Odd Lots furniture for $59.00. :-) They also have matching furniture that goes with it.

If you want to come up and see it, I'll be home this weekend. I'd even be happy to show you the store where I bought it. :-)

oooh, i love Odd Lots furniture!! I may take you up on that, once i figure out what this weekend holds for me. i've lost/misplaced the calendar i keep with me, and i feel totally lost without it. (fortunately, all of my dr appts are also on my calendar at work).
