Yesterday was perfect. i can't think of a better word to describe it. A fun drive to Indy; a picnic in a beautiful park under a cloudless sky and the shade of a very beautiful tree; delicious fruits, veggies, breads and other goodies; great conversation and much silliness.... what more could a girl ask for? how about more good conversation and great food in the same day??

HRH ~ Her Royal Handbag??

channel surfing this evening, i happened upon a station showing the various festivites of the Queen's Golden Jubilee celebration. i noticed that she was carrying a black patent handbag, and i wondered what the Queen would carry in her handbag? The keys to Buckingham palace?? mace? a long strip of accordion-folded photo-jackets showing off her grandchildren? lipstick, kleenex and a compact? a wallet with change for the subway and identification, so when some smartass says "who do you think you are, the Queen of England??" she can flash them her photo ID???
