takin' it all off
Jul. 24th, 2002 09:40 pmnine months since my last haircut. hardly a record in my book. probably average, for me at least. i don't know why getting my hair cut is such a traumatic and monumental event. my aunt noted that it's the same for my cousins Amy and Evelyn, too.
i'm glad i did it, though. it needed to be done. my roots were dark, and my ends were orange. don't even get me started on the split ends and dry, brittle and broken patches.
now it's chin-length (when dry), curly, healthy, and not dry and fuzzy looking. it lays so nice, and feels so weightless! i'm pretty sure she took off more than she left, length-wise... it was down to the top of my bra strap in back, when wet.
as always, it was a fairly last-minute decision, and i didn't say anything to anyone at work. now i need to find the perfect new-'do outfit to show off in tomorrow.
