This is fucking ridiculous. A woman and her husband have their kids taken away over a photo of her breastfeading their son.

BREASTFEEDING! why is breastfeeding being criminalized?!?!?! Children are beaten, starved, tortured and otherwise neglected and abused every single day, yet because some dim-witted cops don't understand cultural differences and are in general very short-sighted, a very capable mother has lost her children.

This is one of the most horrific examples of police overreaction I've seen in a while, but it's not the breastfeeding that's being criminalized, but the photography of it that's the problem. See, the image of a baby suckling on it's mother's breast basically shows a guy with a tit in his mouth, and that, of course, is a sexual image - and if the image is sexual and any of the people in the picture are underaged, then it becomes child porn. Very simple really.

And totally whacked. My personal opinion is that anyone who thinks like that should be locked up in a nice padded room for a while, until they're able to show that they have some semblence of reasonable human intelligence.
