just_cydi faced the basement tonight. i didn't really pack anything, but i did label, record, and decide on destinations for 40+ boxes that are all ready to go. that's probably 2-3 truck-loads right there. having started that makes me feel like i've done something, when i only put about a dozen tiems in boxes.
trying really hard to avoid the "throw stuff in anywhere just to get it moved" chaos. other than the pile in the middle, my basement is relatively organized. boxes are labled, most items have places. it's not as scary as i thought it would be.
tomorrow i'll do my bedroom closet: lable and log the boxes of off-season clothes, and put the loose stuff in bags. that should be good for another 8-10 boxes/bags.
